                             Charlie Chaplin.



 Charles Spencer Chaplin better known as Charlie Chaplin was one of the most famous actors of the silent film era.
  He was an actor, director, producer, comedian, dancer, writer and British musician. His career in entertainment lasted over 75 years since their first performances as a child in theaters in the United Kingdom during the Victorian era almost until his death at 88 years of age. Your main character and most famous was The Tramp, better known in Brazil as "The Tramp." His character was a wandering pauper who has all the refined manners and dignity of a gentleman wearing a threadbare black coat, pants and shoes worn and wider than their number, or a bowler hat, a bamboo cane.
   Charlie Chaplin was also a large and talented chess player and has come to face U.S. champion Samuel Reshevsky.
   Charlie Chaplin was born on April 16, 1889 in London, England. His parents were artists, and with them that Charlie learns to sing. With only five years old Charlie Chaplin went on stage at The Canteen, theater where his mother and had had to leave the stage for health problems and being seriously injured by objects thrown by the audience, and little Charlie sang the song " Jack Jones "a song very popular at the time.
   Charlie Chaplin's mother had to be hospitalized for mental problems and his father died of liver cirrhosis in an alcoholic when Charlie Chaplin was twelve years old in 1901.
    Charlie Chaplin's mother died in 1928 in Hollywood, seven years after being taken to the United States for their children.
   The first tour of Charlie Chaplin occurred during 1910 and 1912. Charlie began working with Normand, who directed and wrote many of his early films. The films of Charlie was such a success that he became one of the biggest stars of the Keystone.
   Charlie married in October 23, 1918 Mildred Harris, had a son that was born deformed and died three days after birth. Eventually divorced in 1920, because of the suffering they went through the child. At age 35 he fell in love with Lita Grey who was only 16 years apart in age they were married on November 26, 1924 in Mexico when she was pregnant. Together they had two sons and divorced in 1926 because of fighting.
   After marrying Charlie Chaplin with Paulette Goddard and separate, he met Oona O'Neill. Quickly married June 16, 1943, he was 54 years old and she was only 17, the vast difference in age did not influence anything, this was the only long and happy marriage to Charlie. With Oona had eight children. The love was so great that Charlie stayed with her until his death, and Oona cared for him at the end of his life.

  Maria do Carmo Miranda da Cunha, known as Carmen Miranda was a famous singer and actress Luso-Brazilian. Astística spent her career in Brazil and the United States between 1930 and 1950. Carmen Miranda also worked on a radio, musical theater, film and television. She was very well paid, she arrived in the United States to receive the highest salary to a woman so far. It is considered the percusora tropicalismo, a Brazilian cultural movement emerged in the late 1960s. Prior to his marriage to Carmen dated with several Hollywood stars and also the Brazilian musician Aloysio de Oliveira. Carmen's marriage was not very successful because of disputes caused by her husband being an alcoholic. But in 1948 ended up getting pregnant Carmen, only after a performance she suffered a miscarriage after that she could not get pregnant, which led to le abusing alcohol and sedative remedies.
     In 1955 Carmen was smoking and drinking much more than before which led to serious health problems. Passed out in a presentation on the television show of comedian Jimmy Durante, she could only recover in the end the number. After smoking and drinking at home, Carmen Miranda came to have a heart attack that dropped dead on the floor on August 5, his body was found by his mother the next day at 10:30 am. Carmen Miranda was 46 years old.

                                   Heitor Villa-Lobos.




   Heitor Villa-Lobos was born on March 5, 1887, Brazilian composer and conductor, was considered the greatest exponent of modernism in music of Brazil. From an early age had everything to gain such recognition, was encouraged to study early, and his father Raul Villa-Lobos gave him musical education and gave him his first guitar and put him to cello lessons.
   At age 12 he was an orphan, and began playing in theaters, cafes and balls. In 1913 he married the pianist Lucilia Gumarães and settled in Rio de Janeiro. In 1922 the famous week of Modern Art of São Paulo established the composer's name. He traveled to Europe in 1927, and returned in 1930, where he made a tour of sixty-six cities. His marriage with the pianist Lucilia Guimarães ended in the 1930s.
   In 1945, Heitor Villa-Lobos founded the Brazilian Academy of Music.
   If operated from cancer in 1948, and married again, only now with Arminda Neves d'Alema, the Jellybean, a former student. Heitor Villa-Lobos died on November 17, 1959, his wife took charge of the dissemination of a monumental work. Villa-Lobos never had children. In 1960 he was created the Villa-Lobos Museum in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
   Pan American Games 2011.

    
    The Pan American Games 2011 was held in Guadalajara, Mexico, between 14 and 30 October. Guadalajara was the city chosen to host the Pan American Games 2011 in an election that occurred in 2006. The mayor of Guadalajara received the banner of Pan-American at the closing ceremony of the Pan American Games 2007 which took place in Rio de Janeiro.                                                                     
      The Pan American Games is a very popular multi-sport event that has more than 6000 athletes from 42 countries who are in search of many types of medals in 36 sports.         
      The city of Guadalajara had to prepare a lot to get this great event, they had torace against time to build new hotels  because of large number of tourists who wouldcome to the     games, also had to build a second terminal of the airport .They spentabout $ 200 million to the sports infrastructure, but the total budget was estimated at approximately $ 250 million. Spending too much money benefited the people of Guadalajara, with the improvement of streets and public transport.                                                                                
     The Pan American Games take place 4-4 years, so it is very necessary to trainathletes for the event . This year the 2011 Pan had more than 700,000 fans in 1177and had medals of these, 141 went to Brazil. In the first place was the United States with 236 medals, 92 gold, second to Cuba with 136, 58 gold, in Brazil the third with 141 medals, 48 gold, and fourth in the host country that is México with 133 medals,42 gold.

      The mascots of the Pan-American Games of 2011 are Huichi, Gavo and Leo. The mascots were unveiled on November 28, 2009 and their names on February 10, 2010.
      The mascots represent the state of Jalisco and the city of Guadalajara. The Gavowhich is a blue agave tequila is the production of which is a distilled alcoholic beverage, which originated in Mexico and is made from a plant called Agavetequilana, the Blue Agave, Hence the origin of the name of the mascot. The Huichicorsa lilac which is representing the south of Jalisco and alludes to the Huichoi are anindigenous ethnic group of western central Mexico, and femininity. Finally Leo, the lion yellow, which represents the strength of the people of Guadalajara, alludes to thecity seal. These are the mascots of the 2011 Pan-American, Mexican and they were very good and praised the culture of the people.

   Halloween is a date not much celebrated in Brazil. In Brazil, halloween is better known as Halloween, and is celebrated on October 31, the day before Memorial Day, also known as All Saints day.
   The halloween party is a very popular and much celebrated in the United States, there on the night of October 31 people tend to dress up as monsters and walk the streets begging for candy and goodies in the houses with the famous Frasse of Halloween "Trick or pranks."
   In the U.S. people tend to also decorate the houses with the symbols of Halloween to be more in the mood. They usually decorate the house with the scary pumpkins, which are usually cut into shapes of faces daunting, often decorate with skeletons, as they believe that on the night of October 31 the bodies of the dead will rise up out of graves and scaring people with frogs, spiders and many other things they believe.
   The halloween came to Brazil in a very popular by TV shows and movies, which often appear as a party very good and very happy, and often a party as frightening and dangerous, as presented in the movies terror and some very famous.
